O desafio Cozinhe um Futuro Melhor viu o envolvimento da Aliança de Cozinheiros do Slow Food, presente em 18 países dos quatro continentes, Quênia, Uganda, Brasil, Rússia e 25 diversos estados dos EUA, entre outros. Os eventos foram organizados pelos cozinheiros, a partir de cardápios bons, limpos, justos e sustentáveis – um Cardápio de Mudanças – para destacar como as nossas escolhas alimentares podem ter um impacto no meio ambiente e na mudança climática.
