There are no tickets to Slow Fish; entry is free of charge.

News, interviews, pictures and videos for continuous event updates 

The press area of the Slow Fish website makes available the event logos, press kit (pdf) and high-resolution pictures of the 2011 edition for download. The press release and news sections will keep you updated with reports, stories, interviews and recipes concerning the themes and participants of this year’s edition. 

Slow Fish will also be reaching a broader public this year through a communications campaign on social media: photographs, videos, recipes, book excerpts and much more will enrich Facebook and Twitter.

Places for the Fish ’n’ Chef, Master of Food Cooking School, and Dinner Dates are limited, and bookings are essential. Bookings can be made online up until May 5 at Any remaining places will be able to be booked during Slow Fish at the Event Reception desk.

Slow Food members are eligible for a 15% discount on Dinner Dates, a € 2 discount on Fish ‘n’ Chef events. Members also receive a 30% discount on the purchase of Slow Food Editore books, and special prices for all available items from the Slow Bazar catalogue.

Baby Pit Stop® by La Leche League 

This year, Slow Food is organizing the Baby Pit Stop® by La Leche League, a cozy space dedicated to mothers and babies hosted by breastfeeding experts, in collaboration with consultants and mothers from the Liguria branch of La Leche League and midwifes from the region.

From Brignole railway station

  • – by metro: stop Genova Brignole / Metro direction Brin MM, change at Genova Darsena.

The Port of Genoa is 1 km from the Porto Antico

A water-taxi service operates from Genoa Pegli (Molo Archetti) to Porto Antico, taking less than 30 minutes.


This year you can also use to share a ride to Slow Fish. Search for a ride or offer spare seats in your vehicle in the Genoa section, saving time and money and helping to reduce CO2 emissions. 


Genova Ovest exit

At the exit booth take the flyover, and exit at the first junction, continue past the foot entrance to the Porto Antico and then get into the access road for the Porto Antico situated between the Fish Market and the Guardia di Finanza barracks.
